Meet Kit Kat

Kit Kat
If you are looking for a beautiful, loving cat that won’t be into things, this is the cat for you! She is very laid back, loves to be held and when she sits in your lap she will knead on you. She loves to lay on paperbags, be scratched by her tail and on the side of her face. She does not mind baths.

Kit Kat

She dislikes her litter being dirty and hates rough play. She likes to drink out of the faucet but will drink out of her bowl. She is on Urinary Food so that she will not get urinary tract infections. Her big Booda Box litter box, bowl and any remaining special food will go with her. She is 8 years old and DECLAWED. Her adoption fee if $75.00

Meet Melvin

Melvin

I was sent to the vet to be euthanized from Jefferson County Animal Control and was saved even though I was skin and bones and didn’t have much hair on my body.  All I want is to be loved.  My hair is growing back now, as it was lost from so many fleas.  I have a 100% clean bill of health and have been to the vet to make sure I didn’t have any sickness from being so thin.  Once my hair grows back, I won’t look as skinny!  I am about 8 years old as of October, 2011.  I am declawed.
All I want is to be loved.  I am very sweet, a little shy at first but once I know you and know you aren’t going to hurt me, I will sleep in bed with you.  I love vanilla yogurt as well as any other food.  I sit by the food bowl nightly, just waiting for my food. I love to have my face rubbed and told I’m a handsome cat.

Meet Tommy

Tommy
Tommy is a 2-3 year old brown tabby male who is such a sweet boy, but he is scared of most other kitties.  He is such a friendly guy, performing figure-eights through my legs while I am trying to do laundry.  He is a good climber and climbs high on shelves to get a good view.  I believe he has never lived in a house before, but he uses a litterbox just fine.  He stays in one room, the laundry room, which he has staked out as his own, although he is free to roam the house.  The other kitties come and go and he watches them.  He has begun to play with toys and finally learned to use the bed I provided for him.  He did venture out into the living room the other night, stayed a few minutes and then went back to his laundry room.  He is still learning to be a pet, because he has not had the opportunity to be one before.
Tommy
Tommy came to the rescue from Jefferson College, where he was one of the kitties used to teach the students in the Vet Tech program.  The good people at Jefferson College go to Jefferson County Animal Control each semester and rescue several cats and dogs to work in the program, testing and vetting them.  At the end of the term, they make sure every animal gets a home or a rescue who will take them to find a home.
Tommy
Tommy is a real delight.  He loves his tummy rubbed and forces his head into you for the appropriate scratching.  He lets me hold him for some snuggles.  He enjoys his time looking out the window.  He likes watching the wind blow the leaves through the yard. I know he appreciates being inside on cold or rainy day.

Meet Ciera!

Ciera

Ciera was found in a vacant foreclosed home left by her previous owners. She had been adopted as a kitten from our rescue group and then abandoned. She is a little confused as to what happened to her.

Ciera

She is very talkative, loving and playful. She is a lap lover. She will need a home without other cats. She doesn’t attack other cats just grumbles her disapproval. Not sure about dogs. You will see the real Ciera once she settles into her new home.
